Presentation of OPERAS at the annual meeting of the ALLEA E-Humanities Working Group

Logo ALLEAMaciej Maryl (IBL PAN) has presented OPERAS at the annual meeting of the ALLEA E-Humanities Working Group, which is identifying and raising awarness for priorities and concerns of the Digital Humanities, and has talked about possible liaisons.

The ALLEA E-Humanities Working Group’s first publication “Going Digital: Creating Change in the Humanities” has made recommendations concerning archival sustainability and data training for Open Access in the Humanities. The group is now focusing on the European Open Science and Open Research agenda.

Maciej Maryl is assistant professor and Deputy Director of The Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBL PAN) and founding head of the Digital Humanities Centre at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. IBL PAN is a core group member of OPERAS and involved in the OPERAS working groups “Tools (R&D)”, “Business Models” and “Communication”.
