Invitation to the TRIPLE Kick-Off Meeting
OPERAS and Huma-Num cordially invite you to the Kick-Off of the TRIPLE project, funded in the Horizon 2020 framework. It will take place at the 4th of December 2019, at the Maison des Sciences de l’homme Paris-Nord (20 Avenue George Sand, 93210 Saint-Denis) from 2 to 6 pm.
The event will be opened by an introduction of David Fiala from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESRI), Lionel Maurel, Scientific Deputy Director (CNRS, INSHS), and a Huma-Num representative. Afterwards, Suzanne Dumouchel, Coordinator of TRIPLE and Co-Coordinator of OPERAS will present TRIPLE with its goals and challenges.
After a coffee break, Pierre Mounier, Deputy Director, Head of the International Department (OpenEdition) and Co-Coordinator of OPERAS, will present TRIPLE as a Core Service of the European Research Infrastructure OPERAS. Ivana Ilijašić Veršić, Chief Operations Officer (CESSDA), will discuss the SSHOC project to present TRIPLE in a broader ecosystem. Elena Giglia, Head of the Open Access Office at the University of Turin, (UniTo) will introduce the CO-OPERAS Implementation Network and the connection with TRIPLE. Afterwards there will be a cocktail buffet (6 to 8 pm).
Everyone is warmly welcome. Persons and institutions whose work focuses on open science and research data in Europe, including representatives of academic publishers, repositories, journal editorial boards, and research institutions are particularly encouraged to attend.
