OPERAS ROR ID

Fresh from signing the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, OPERAS is proud to announce that we now have our own ROR ID! ROR is a wonderful example of Open Science in practice, respecting the FAIR principles and enabling individuals and organisations around the world to better document their affiliation.

With ROR, any organisation can create its own persistent identifier, which will then allow individuals, for example, to show who they are affiliated with in an authenticated way, e.g. via ORCID.

We value what the registry has to offer and we encourage our extended community and partners to explore the possibility of registering their own ID for their affiliation to enhance the adoption of ROR.
